Orthopaedic Problems with Hands & Feet

Picture
Our feet & hands can often be crowded out by the large amount of information on the web that covers the hip, the knee, & the spine. Yet our body is a symbiotic machine. Essential to both our day to day activities, & sporting extremes, are functional feet & hands. Astride a surf-board, holding a golf club, participating in a yoga class, or quietly doing some fine work - the function of our extremities is vital. Michael understands the concern that problems with both feet & hands can bring. He has an interest in Hallux Valgus (bunion) & Hallux Rigid (stiff big toe), forefoot surgery, instability of the ankle & general arthritic conditions of the foot. In terms of the hand Michael performs Wide Awake Local Anaesthetic No Tourniquet daycare surgery for Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, Trigger Finger & Thumbs, CMC Arthritis & Ulna Nerve Decompression.
